Costa Ligure is proud to announce its participation – as Official Sponsor – in the Dakar Classic 2022, the race that will take place concurrently with the Dakar Rally from January 1 to 14 in Saudi Arabia.
We will be supporting the ligurian driver Luciano Carcheri, who on this occasion will compete with a Nissan Terrano 1 prepared by the TecnoSport team, sided by the Italian 2021 Cross-Country Rally Champion Giulia Maroni. For Carcheri, a true veteran of the Dakar, it will be the tenth presence in this legendary race. The goal is to improve on his seventh place overall in 2021.
Costa Ligure has chosen the important stage of the Dakar 2022 to promote, through Carcheri’s new challenge, an innovative product dedicated to sports enthusiasts: low fat Genovese Pesto with vegetable proteins from chickpeas, edamame and milk proteins.
