ProPesto High Protein Red Pesto
The traditional red pesto recipe based on sun-dried tomatoes is revisited with the addition of chickpeas – which allow a reduction in calorie intake and an increase in nutrients such as protein – to B vitamins, minerals and edamame, naturally rich in Omega 3.
Parmigiano Reggiano DOP is still present, but thanks to a reduced quantity of oil, the result is a low-fat pesto that is 30% lighter than a classic recipe!
