Pesto Vivo is Costa Ligure top product, the result of long studies for the production of a fresh pesto , not pasteurized and with a shelf life of 24 months in jar. A pesto which gained costa ligure the sgs certification.

The lack of pasteurization is a great advantage under the nutritional and organoleptic point of view and we warmly advise to use our pesto vivo raw, directly on the pasta , without any heating , eventually adding just a small amount of extra virgin olive oil and parmesan cheese. From the organoleptic point of view the difference between our pesto vivo and pasteurized product can be easily appreciated by anybody.
